On November 11, 2021, I was a guest speaker for EXCM 101: Introduction to Exercise Science at Loyola University Chicago's Lakeshore Campus. For this presentation, I discussed the nutrition basics, nutrition needs, and macronutrient timing for varying types of athletes, including a case study.

On April 28, 2021, I was a speaker for World Food Day at Stevenson Highschool (D125) in Lincolnshire, IL. During two separate periods, I spoke to the Foods and Nutrition classes. For this presentation, I discussed the pathway to becoming a registered dietitian and provided a sugar-sweetened beverage shocker demo. For the demo, I weighed sugar in grams for common sugar-sweetened beverages to illustrate the amount of sugar consumed.

For this presentation, I discussed the paths to becoming a registered dietitian, and my contributions to the Chicago Neuroscience Institute as the Program Coordinator for Preventive Medicine and Nutrition Services.

For the demo, I weighed sugar in grams for common sugar-sweetened beverages to illustrate the amount of sugar consumed and related it to childhood obesity prevention.
